Travel with kids… It isn’t impossible!

Travel with kids everything is complex but not everything is as difficult as it sounds.

Holiday season is here! This time of the year definitely sees an up rise in the number of little travelers accompanying parents everywhere. Be it planes, trains or road trips, these little ones are seen laughing, crying, running all around and enjoying each and every moment. When one travels with their children, they are giving them something that can never be taken away – experience, exposure, and a way of life! Seeing new places, meeting new people and new experiences sets an educative tone in the kids. iNTELLYJELLY believes such an exposure teaches adaptability and co-existing values to a kid.

A family vacation sets the tone of harmony and breaks the monotony of life. Often in our busy schedules, we are all work and no play. Few days out gives us that boost and naturally works wonders for the bond of parents and children’s relationship. The kids need a break too. Studies show a kid that travels a lot learns to keep patience and be flexible in majority of the situations. School, television and books can teach them for sure but actual learning happens at outdoors wherein there are no set rules and no set instructions. A family should build traditions of vacations & trips & outings. These moments will never be forgotten and always be cherished by the children.

Travel with kids

Kids as travelers are also not same. Few of them are avid travelers, they are cheerful and people around them are delighted to interact with these angels. Many a times, a kid in good mood uplifts the milieu and imparts positivism to all. Mood changes to celebration with joy all around. These can be seen playing around and being excited about the journey. Some other kids are the finicky ones, and to handle their mood swings & temperament is an enormous task. We all have come across shouting & screaming ones in our journey. They are tough on parents and to some other travelers as well. But well, the kid is just in a foul mood or unhappy about something. With time and effort, he can be turned around. Anyway, travelling with kids isn’t really a mayhem, if handled well. Travel with kids They are keen souls, they need to know the how and when of all. It is a fine thing that a kid is curious, he is just trying to be open to new stuff, that’s all!

How to handle little travelers?

Some basic co-travelling mannerisms can be taught to kids. They should be privy to such knowledge of dos & don’ts of being in public. Also, it isn’t a mammoth task to keep a kid busy while actually travelling to a destination, iNTELLYJELLY feels a kid just needs to be kept occupied in journey, once at destination they are busy donning explorer’s hat! A kid’s mind is full of questions and curiosity about everything is at primary. Such inquisitive minds should be supported and answered with appropriate reasoning and fortitude. Educative games, moral based story books, popular kid’s magazines and activities to keep their minds busy and thinking is all that is required.

iNTELLYJELLY recommends its online children’s magazines and story books in such travels. It’s very important to educate our children with current and worldly issues as well as building their character with moral and learning stories. It’ll surely keep their ‘questioning’ minds busy & occupied throughout the trip. Surely a win-win situation, for the children as well as the parents.

Travel the world and make new memories! Such memories made together last a lifetime.

Until next time!
