Role Of Creativity and Its Effect On A Kid’s Life

When I was young, I remember having imaginary adventures with my brother and cousins in our room. We would make believe that the room was a treasure island or a pirate’s ship and take on unique characters. When we were not reading books, We were found playing adventurous or creative games that enlightened us about the tales of ancient kings, queens, and warriors, how the dinosaurs ruled the planet, how science could be much more than just numbers and formulas and much more.

We used to Read Educational Magazines for kids that were famous back then and they helped fuel our imagination in more ways than one. With no Internet or mobile phones or tablets available, these magazines and books would be our only source of entertainment. To this day I remember how we could turn from shopkeepers to astronauts in no time.

Now when I look back, I feel so thankful for those childhood days where I was learning things and discovering the world around me. Childhood is a very tender period. Hence, I think it is very important that we do not restrict the learning and imagining capacity of children instead let them discover things by themselves via books and games and other brain stimulating activities.

Role of creativity and its effect on a kid’s life:

  • Creativity entails constant idealization of how one thing can be transformed into something new with a hint of personal touch.
  • It allows a child to form a sense of self-expression and enables them to develop problem-solving abilities.
  • It helps to teach cognitive skills such as mathematics and scientific thinking.
  • Creative thinking enables children to use their imaginative abilities to polish skills like communication, making interpretations, using s
  • symbols which help with future literacy skills.

As a parent, you can help build your kid’s level of creativity in a number of ways. One such example is subscribing to children’s monthly magazines. You will find many popular educational magazines for kids in India but make sure to look up for some reviews of magazines for kids before signing up.
